Hendrie is the Managing Director of MHB Consultants, which he founded in 2007. He has over 30 years’ experience of working in the civil engineering industry within both consulting and contracting organisations. His technical experience has been gained across a range of technical disciplines, with specific expertise of geotechnical, heavy civil engineering and railway works.

Hendrie is responsible for delivering complex design and consultancy advice to meet client programmes, budgets and expectations. He has managed multidisciplinary design teams including architects, building services, railway design teams as well as core civil engineering disciplines.

Since forming MHB Consultants in 2007, has carried out design and design management work for clients including Network Rail, Carillion, AMCO Giffen, Story, QTS, BAM Nuttall, Balfour Beatty, and EDF Energy.
