During the Christmas 2015 / New Year 2016 period Storm Frank caused severe damage across Scotland.

MHB were commissioned by AMCO to carry out site inspections and remedial works design on a section of the Highland Line near Dunkeld.

Due to an extreme flooding event over the New Year period, two sections of railway embankment were washed away leaving approximately 70m of railway track unsupported.

MHB Consultants visited the site and carried out remedial works design which allowed the track to be re opened within 2 weeks.
