Fergus joined MHB Consultants in February 2015 as a Principal Engineer to manage the company’s bridges and civil structures design team. His responsibilities include the delivery of the team’s current workload, technical execution of engineering projects and continuing business development.

He was promoted to Company Director in 2017 after developing the bridges design team and securing successful new business opportunities. In January 2025, Fergus was promoted to Managing Director.
