Alistair joined MHB Consultants in January 2010 and is responsible for civil and geotechnical design for a wide range of projects, predominantly in the rail sector. 

Opportunities to work with heavy civils have been frequent and have involved soil nailing and ground anchorages, drainage design, and foundation design amongst other aspects.

Alistair has developed a surveying department to enable the firm to provide clients with both surveying and design. Having financial and technical control of projects has led to the development of a team which now produces topographical surveys, full design and site supervision where required.
