Design of temporary king post wall to provide support to an old existing concrete buried wall as the proposed building excavation level is lower than the existing wall.

Our design included:

• Designing a cantilever wall as ground anchors were not possible.
• Careful consideration of the impact of the works on a nearby underground railway tunnel.
• Strict construction sequencing to ensure that the existing wall does not get overloaded or undermined during the staged construction process.
