UB 163/104 Challoch Clumps Edge Protection

In March 2020, MHB Consultants carried out the design of the temporary works for Story Contracting to facilitate the essential bridge replacement at UB 163/104 Challoch Clumps in Dumfries & Galloway.

The single span bridge comprised two timber waybeams with trough girder deck. The structure was demolished and replaced with Network Rail Standard U-Decks and the following temporary works designs were carried out;
